Angelina County utilizes the Unit Road System form of road maintenance and repair. There are approximately 739 miles of roads that is maintained under this system. All road maintenance and repairs fall under the Road and Bridge Department which is overseen by the Road Administrator.

Permit to Install Culverts on County Right-Of-Way
Effective April 1st 2023, Angelina County will require a permit for all culvert installations. Click on the below link to complete the application process. Payment will be accepted at time of culvert consultation. Please direct inquiries to (936) 238-6336. Completed downloaded application may be emailed to culverts@angelinacounty.net
